An approach to calculating the average haul distance I suggest is to calculate the coordinates of the first moment of area of the cuts to determine the centroid of the total cut volume. Using the same code the programme could calculate the coordinates of the centroid of the fill volume. The distance between the two centroids would represent the average haul distance. Haul distance is one of the many considerations when estimating the cost of a project.3 votes
That is a good idea. We will add it in a coming version and we are developing something more advanced that hopefully will be out soon.
After we unlocked a design and closed the unlock window telling us how much credits are required, there is no way to see how much was used again. Would be easier for billing because sometimes credits used area and field areas aren't exactly the same.1 vote
Thanks for the feedback. We are working on something like that in V2.5.
My CPU only works at about 30% capacity while calculating. Having to load a big file (~400 hectare field) often is cumbersome. Is there a way to speed it up?
